Award-Winning Smoked Blueberry Pie

We believe in sharing the pie (literally!!) so where goes the award-winning recipe – congrats Smoot!

Smoot’s Secret Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1 cup white sugar, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 6 tablespoons white sugar
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons sugar

Make crust, poor filling into crust, sprinkle topping over filling.

Smoke in 300-degree grill (with Applewood smoke!!), 40-60 minutes!
