Biography


Chris joined Pie Consulting & Engineering in 2014 and serves as a Forensic & Building Science Specialist. His primary responsibilities include building enclosure performance testing, quality assurance for new construction and rehabilitation projects, forensic engineering investigations, hail and wind damage assessments, and preparation of technical reports. The clients Chris has served include general- and sub-contractors, building owners, property managers, insurance companies, and home owner associations.

Prior to joining the Pie team, Chris gained structural forensic engineering experience as a forensic engineer intern in Ventura, California; with projects such as seismic evaluations of existing structures and seismic hazard mitigation. His expertise is in structural design and analysis, and providing quality assurance observations for building owners to ensure that the contractors have performed construction in compliance with the design documents and current industry standards.
