Biography


As a senior technician, Houston provides a wide range of services applicable to the industry. He has experience in insurance claims and investigations, enclosure testing expertise including performance testing of ASTM E 1105 water infiltration testing, ASTM E 783 air leakage testing, whole building air barrier testing per ASTM E 1186 and E 779, and electronic leak detection testing of roofing, waterproofing and traffic coatings per ASTM D 7877. Houston also performs construction phase quality assurance observations and technical reporting.

After 15 years working for the premier emergency services contractor to the railroad industry, Houston joined Pie Consulting & Engineering in 2017. From 1997 to 2001, Houston worked as a Fraud Claims Investigator for a Major US Insurance carrier. From 1989 to 1997, Houston served In the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of Sergeant.
