Biography


Michelle provides design and construction phase consulting services for a diverse client base on a wide variety of both structural and building enclosure system related projects. Her responsibilities include: design, design development assistance, plan and specification reviews, quality assurance field observations, building performance testing and diagnostics on both new and rehabilitation construction projects.

Prior to joining Pie, Michelle served as a Senior Architectural Consultant for an independent engineering firm bringing project management expertise to design, design review, planning, forensic investigation, condition assessment, construction management, and inspection of both historic masonry buildings and modern high-rises in the Midwestern United States.

She also served as AIA CES Coordinator and consulted on budget projections, contract negotiations, bidding, quality control, reports, permitting, city submissions, storm water management, erosion control, building systems, construction management, construction administration and observation, quality assurance and maintenance planning, product evaluation and much more.
