Tom Beckey joined Pie Consulting and Engineering in 2009 and again in 2016 and serves as a Senior Mechanical Engineer providing his extensive expertise on forensic investigations focusing on mechanical failures, HVAC design and operation, motorized equipment, and many other unique cases and claims that our clients trust Tom to tackle with precision and thoroughness.
Tom has worked on HVAC and plumbing system analysis, propriety manufacturing systems and product evaluations, vehicle failure and accident reconstructions, lightning strike evaluation, and support for fire origin and cause with regards to mechanical or electrical origins for over 30 years. Prior to joining Pie, Tom’s experience includes ethanol plant explosion analysis, design of ethanol plants in international areas, product research and development, HVAC control system design, and has been published many peer-reviewed technical articles.
