A look at our state’s flood recovery efforts and the need for further legislation to resolve the aftermath of the recent flooding will soon be front and center for Colorado lawmakers. Legislators will also process through feedback received from disaster experts and responders and review state laws to determine if new statutes are necessary.
Claims Journal excerpt (October 5, 2013): “Legislative leaders announced Friday they would convene a bipartisan panel of 12 lawmakers that will begin meeting soon. The lawmakers will tour areas damaged by last month’s floods and get input by residents who were affected.”
