Legislators will also process through feedback received from disaster experts and responders and review state laws to determine if new statutes are necessary.

Claims Journal excerpt (October 5, 2013):Legislative leaders announced Friday they would convene a bipartisan panel of 12 lawmakers that will begin meeting soon. The lawmakers will tour areas damaged by last month’s floods and get input by residents who were affected.
