Oklahoma Tornado Outbreak: Damage Assessment

When natural catastrophes strike, such as the devastation caused by the tornadoes and severe weather in Oklahoma, the damage done to personal and commercial property can be enormous. As of today, 38,000 people are still without power in areas surrounding Oklahoma City. The official death toll stands at 24; the fatalities include nine children.

On Monday, President Obama approved a Major Disaster Declaration for Oklahoma, making federal funding available to support affected individuals, as well as additional federal assistance to support immediate response and recovery efforts

Pie’s Catastrophe Response Team will be on-site providing support for insurance companies, contractors, and assisting with overall rehabilitation parameters and feasibility for damaged buildings.
