Matt Heron to Present at Upcoming BEST3 Conference
Arvada, Colorado (March 28, 2012) – Pie Consulting & Engineering (Pie) announced today that Matt Heron, P.E., LEED®AP, Building Science Department Manager, will be presenting at the 2012 Building Enclosure Science & Technology (BEST3) conference to be held in Atlanta, Georgia April 2 – 4th. The theme of this year’s conference is High Performance Buildings – Combining Field Experience with Innovation.
BEST3 offers attendees three conference tracks: Energy Efficiency, Whole Building, and Fenestration. Matt will present on April 3rd during the Whole Building track. His presentation will highlight the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer Requirements for Air Barriers in New Buildings.
Cutting-edge developments in building envelope products and services will be carried out over 22 sessions and provide more than 70 peer-reviewed papers. Detailed conference information can be found at, www.thebestconference.org/.
The conference is inspired by the Building Enclosure Technology and Environment Council’s (BETEC) mission to explore the advancements of energy efficient buildings as well as the durability of buildings as affected by moisture and the indoor environment.
