Pie Awarded BECx on Poudre Valley Health System Harmony Cancer Center
Arvada, Colorado (March 1, 2013) – Pie Consulting & Engineering (Pie) was awarded the Building Enclosure Commissioning (BECx) contract for the all-new, state-of-the-art Poudre Valley Health System Cancer Center located on Harmony Campus in Fort Collins, Colorado. Cator, Ruma & Associates, Co. is the Commissioning Authority for the project. Adolfson & Peterson will be constructing the facility designed by Heery.
Slated for completion in 2014, the 30,000 square feet, 2-story center is currently estimated at $11 million. The new facility is designed to provide complete cancer care including access to cancer treatment, research, support, and survivorship services.
Pie will perform the following BECx services:
- Technical Plan and Specification Review of Building Enclosure Systems
- BECx Plan Development
- BECx Specification Development
- Construction Checklist Development for Contractor QC
- On-Site Quality Assurance and Reporting
- Final BECx Report and Systems Manual
