Pie Consulting & Engineering Expands Sports Stadium Experience

Athletic arenas across the country represent growing market for Colorado-based firm

Arvada, Colorado – March 21, 2016 – Pie Consulting & Engineering (www.pieglobal.com), a leading provider of building and forensic science services, continues to grow its sports and athletic facility experience with addition of two new stadium projects.

Pie recently was retained to provide enclosure consulting services on the new US Bank Stadium (Vikings) in Minneapolis, as well as the new Colorado State University multi-purpose stadium in Fort Collins, Colorado.

The new projects add to Pie’s expanding portfolio of athletic facility work, including Colorado School of Mines, the University of Arkansas, Northern Arizona University, as well as the University of Colorado in Boulder.

“Sports stadiums, both at the collegiate and professional level, represent an exciting and continued growth market for Pie’s building science expertise,” said Eric Amhaus, Vice President of Building Sciences at Pie. “Whether a strict outdoor venue, fully enclosed arena, or even complex stadiums with retractable roofs and walls; these facilities are comprised of multiple complex enclosure systems that must work in unison to provide long term protection and performance for the owner.”
