Pie Consulting & Engineering Mobilizes Construction Consultants in Sioux Falls
Arvada, Colorado/Eden Prairie, Minnesota – November 25, 2014 – Pie Consulting & Engineering (www.pieglobal.com), a leading provider of building and forensic science services, is proud to report they were able to quickly and effectively mobilize their team of construction consultants in response to a claim involving over 400 structures in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Pie’s scope of work was to document the condition of over 400 structures owned and maintained by the City of Sioux Falls for potential damage resulting from a hail event, including libraries, fire stations, the zoo, lighting structures, commercial office buildings, water treatment plant structures, water towers, a minor league baseball park, and convention center.
Pie quickly mobilized a team of 11 consultants from multiple geographic locations over a three week period to observe each structure and collect pertinent data. The follow up reporting and cost estimating services are scheduled to be completed by the end of November 2014, which represents a two-month turnaround.
For more than 15 years, Pie has provided timely response and expertise in forensic engineering, construction consulting, cost estimating, construction management, rehabilitation design and project oversight to large loss claims across the country.
