- Review of key resources in the evaluation of new products and features
- Describe how building codes are addressing these new products and features
- Identify how scoping and pricing losses may be affected by the introduction of new building products
“Innovations in green (sustainable) design, construction and building codes and standards have had a significant impact on construction methods and materials. As a result, loss claims on sustainable structures and properties are likely to involve new and unfamiliar circumstances, restrictions and requirements that could substantially alter claim adjustment. Insurance professionals will come away from this presentation with a solid understanding the many facets of green construction and how it is already impacting claim resolution and will continue to do so for years to come.” – Joe Smith, AIA
