Pie Welcomes Carole Cummings to Colorado Office
Arvada, Colorado (August 28, 2013) – Pie Consulting & Engineering (Pie) proudly announces the addition of Carole Cummings, Building Science Specialist, to Pie’s Colorado office. Joining the Building Science Group, Carole will be performing building enclosure consulting and enclosure commissioning services on projects throughout the country.
Along with enclosure consulting and commissioning, Carole specializes in repair and rehabilitation design, historic preservation, water infiltration and investigation, building envelope assessments, and litigation consulting. Carole will be tasked with performing design development assistance, construction document and submittal reviews, quality assurance observations, building envelope assessments and testing.
Prior to joining Pie, Carole served as a consultant for a leading national engineering firm in New York City specializing in diagnosis and repair design for building envelope failures in contemporary and historic buildings. She was active with forensic investigations, construction observations and rehabilitation of historic buildings and structures, destructive and non-destructive testing, condition surveys, building envelope assessments, technical report preparation, and quality assurance consulting for both new and rehabilitation projects.
Carole holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
