What: 2nd Annual Cherrity Pie Festival
Where: Denver Botanic Gardens in Littleton, Colorado
When: September 15, 2012 – 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Why: See life differently…meet Anchor Center children and raise much-needed funding!

“We are very excited for this year’s event which will add some crazy, fun activities that all children will enjoy but also activities specifically designed for children with visual impairments. Funds from last year’s Cherrity Pie Festival helped 27 preschool children learn life skills such as table manners, proper use of utensils, using a cane to get around, and how to work as a group on projects. Funds from this year’s event will help our families in the infant and toddler program as well.  We can’t thank Pie Consulting & Engineering enough for all their support and for putting on this event.”
– Kristine Wolfe, Anchor Center Development Director.

“On the heels of our success with last year’s inaugural event, the Cherrity Pie Festival is back in full swing.  This year we have gathered twice as many sponsors including the involvement of several high public profiles, and have upgraded the event to include more fun activities, exclusive auction items, and a bigger pie bake-off.  Come out and join us for this worthwhile charitable cause.” – Craig Sellers, VP Marketing & Development, Pie Consulting & Engineering.

Last year’s inaugural event drew in more than 350 attendees and raised $17,000 in charitable donations for Anchor Center.  This year’s event is expected to draw in more than 500 attendees, and Anchor Center families.  Our donation goal is $20,000.  It is as easy as pie to participate!
