Yosemite National Park Fire Rages On

yosemite fireShowing no signs of letting up, the massive Rim Fire blazing across Yosemite National Park, is now threatening a reservoir that supplies the majority of San Francisco’s water.

The wildfire has so far claimed more than 193,000 acres – an area similar in size to New York City.

Flying over the burn, the drone’s cameras capture real-time footage of the blaze – allowing fire resources to make quick, calculated decisions about where to deploy.
