UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences

Project Overview

Designed to accommodate the growing need for medical professionals in North Dakota, the new UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences provides 325,000 SF of classroom, lab, administrative, and study space. The $124M facility is enclosed in a prominent facade that integrates modern curtain wall and metal panel accents into a timeless masonry wall system to provide for a beautiful addition to the campus. Beginning early in the design phase, Pie was engaged by the design-builder, PCL Construction, to consult on enclosure material selection and detailing. Pie’s involvement continued throughout the pre-construction and construction phases where our team provided mock-up review services, quality assurance observations during construction, and on-call consultation services.
