Alastair Huber

Project Manager

Alastair believes sustainable construction is achieved by designing buildings that are thermally efficient, control moisture, and are durable. After practicing architecture for over 20 years in Healthcare, Multi-Family, Education, and Hospitality, he made a move to Pie with the goal of helping AEC professionals ensure their enclosures are constructed and perform to the highest standards possible. Alastair was a past Chair of the Colorado Building Enclosure Council (COBEC) and is excited to continue the good work advocated by this group with the Pie Family.

If Alastair isn’t actively working on renovating his ’57 vintage home in Wheat Ridge, he is cleaning up the mess produced by his two kids, three dogs, and eight chickens. Alternating summer trips to Germany or Canada to visit family is a summer tradition where the price of the tickets is offset by having a place to stay. Spinning while watching movies or mountain biking in the great beauty of Colorado is the main means for Alastair to close his Apple Fitness Rings. Though not a native of Colorado, you may hear him utter the phrase, “It’s not where you’re from but where you belong!
