Jeff has provided design and construction phase consulting on a wide variety of structural and building enclosure system related projects. His responsibilities include: design development assistance, plan/specification reviews, quality assurance field observations, building performance testing and diagnostics on both new and rehabilitation construction projects.
Prior to joining Pie, Jeff served as a Restoration and Design Engineer for a specialty firm providing design/consulting services for the construction and rehabilitation of concrete parking structures across the U.S. Specific responsibilities included site condition surveys, repair design, structural design, and specification review. He also assisted in the submittal review process for several projects.
Jeff also has extensive experience in the quality assurance of curtain wall systems, facades, and roofing systems. His experience includes inspection of both historic masonry buildings and modern high-rises in the northeastern U.S. Jeff co-authored an article with Stuart Mitchell of Pie, “ASTM 2813 and the Owner’s Project Requirements – Commissioning the Building Enclosure” published in The Construction Specifier, December 2012.
