Biography

Ryan is a firm believer in the value of early engagement between all parties involved in the design and construction of durable, long lasting, and easily maintained structures. As a seasoned building enclosure consultant, Ryan leverages his extensive design, investigative, and construction experience to identify problem areas and create solutions before they evolve into inflexible obstacles.

Though technical expertise is vital to his role, Ryan strives to excel in the personal aspects of building enclosure consulting, such as workshopping with designers to develop clear, concise, and accurate bidding documents. Troubleshooting cross-trade detailing difficulties and their scheduling and buyout impacts with contractors and installers are also aspects of Ryan’s role.

Prior to joining Pie, Ryan worked as a building science and quality control project manager for a design/build developer of premier athletic clubs. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys home remodeling, is an active real estate investor, and dabbles in brewing.
